Welcome Nishty!

Welcome Nishty!

We are extremely pleased to welcome Nishty Kamhal Anupchandra into our studio! Nishty joined us in September 2026 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. She completed her Part 1 course at the University of Nottingham, graduating with first-class honours. Moreover, she was also awarded her university’s undergraduate sustainability prize.

Prior to working at Quarry Architects, Nishty has amassed experience at David Morley Architects during a summer internship and Scott Brownrigg’s digital bootcamp. She has also spent2-years volunteering at Architects for Gaza, an international team developing masterplans to rebuild the region following the destruction.

Nishty has a particular interest in digital design, particularly BIM and parametric design, which we look forward to developing with her on our projects. She is also a skilled modelmaker, as demonstrated throughout her university projects. Nishty believes the craft of making models by hand is an effective way of discussing and developing ideas – we couldn’t agree more!

Her final year project, The Current Academy, was recently published on Dezeen. The project, located on the banks of the River Trent, explored the integration of water treatment processes into the architectural design, making typically hidden processes accessible to the public.

Outside of work, Nishty is a keenpainter, regularly selling her own artwork via her Instagram account.
