Welcome Neve!

Welcome Neve!

We are excited to share that Neve San Emeterio has joined our studio! Neve joined us in September 2026 as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant. She completed her Part 1 course at the University of Nottingham, graduating this summer.

Before starting at Quarry Architects, Neve participated in the RIBA’s Future Architect Mentorship programme. She has also spent time volunteering for a design and build project. The 8-week project saw a therapy space designed and built in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. In particular, Neve fondly remembers creating a sofa for the space –made from leftover materials and local fabrics sourced from the town’s market.

Leaning on her experiences in Guatemala, Neve’s final-year thesis project was inspired by Guatemalan attitudes towards rain – a scarce resource essential for survival and something to be treasured and celebrated. Her project, a greenhouse complex based in the UK, was designed to challenge British attitudes, reframing rain as a valuable and experiential asset.

Neve enjoys visualising projects in three dimensions – and is skilled at creating physical and digital models. She particularly enjoys the early stages of projects, developing concept designs with clients and collaborators. We look forward to developing these skills with her on our current (and future) projects!

Outside of work, Neve informs us she is a keen cook and football player. No doubt she’ll settle it extremely well here!
